I have a checklist
It’s going to be an early night for me. My time to report to the hospital is precisely way-to-early in the morning. As I spoke with the cheery lady in admissions this afternoon and wrote down, repeating as almost a question, the time, I couldn’t help but think — there was a time I would just be going to bed at this time.

But the earlier I go, the earlier I can go home, right? I guess the answer is — maybe. I have to say that the documentation and information that Jefferson has provided is quite stellar. They clearly outlined to me the criteria that allows me to be discharged to home. For someone like me, a check list like that is invaluable. I will be playing along in my room like an old queen at a bingo party.
Am I ready to do this? Have my body opened, my spine spackled and screwed? I suppose I am. To new adventures… and new journeys. Peace.
